CRISTIANO RONALDO:THE MAN OF MOTIVATION

Name: Sajid Ahmed Sabit

Sec: 06

It was 16 july,2018 I was watching the FIFA World Cup match between Portugal and Spain. He carried Portugal alone in that match to draw against the mighty Spain. That day I understood why the name Cristiano Ronaldo comes in everyone's mind when the topic is about doing something impossible.

A guy from the street of madeira with zero hopes, today is the history holder of football. This man is an ultimate example of motivation. He made it possible not only by his talent but also by his dedication and hard work. Throughout his career, Ronaldo has consistently demonstrated a remarkable level of discipline and determination. He's known to be one of the last players to leave the training ground, often spending extra time working on his skills, fitness, and studying opponents. His dedication to his craft has played a significant role in his success and longevity in professional football. His life tells you that only talent is not enough to gain success, rather you have to do hard work and also need to be focused on your goal. Because talent is something that gives you the purpose and to turn the purpose in success one has to do hard work.

In 1997, at the age of 12 he went for 3-day trial with Sporting CP and got himself signed by the team by showing his potential. When he turned into 14, it became tough for him to maintain both study and football together. Ronaldo had the belief that he was capable of playing football professionally. So, he decided to focus on football fully. This single story reflects that how dedicated and clear he was about his dream from his early life. If one wants to fulfil a dream, then he should be clear about it like him.

The story of his life helps me to overcome my failure by staying positive. From his life story I have learnt that failure is a part of our daily life. Failure should not be taken as a matter of fear, rather it makes you more powerful for the future. In 2008, Manchester United faced their arch-rivals Manchester City, in a crucial Premier League match. In the first half, Ronaldo missed a penalty kick, which could have put his team ahead. Despite this setback, Ronaldo remained determined and focused on making a positive impact for his team. As the game progressed, Ronaldo's positive mindset became evident. Instead of dwelling on the missed opportunity, he boosted himself. In the second half, Ronaldo scored two brilliant goals which helped his team to win by 2-0. This single story reflects the level of his positive mind.

Ronaldo is not only a successful player but also a great leader. On 11 July,2016 Portugal was playing the final match of Euro Cup against France. In that match, unfortunately Ronaldo got injured brutally and he had to be subbed. It was moment he was needed the most by his team. Despite being injured, he stayed beside the field and motivated the teammates, and he was giving instruction to his teammate with the coach. At the end his team was able to win the match. It was the first time Portugal won an international trophy.

Besides all these Ronaldo loves to help people. He donates a good amount of money to the poor people of the world. Even in Portugal he is turning his hotel into a hospital for the poor people to give them free medical treatment. He has donated a huge amount of money to the people of Palestine for their betterment.

After all of these is there any chance to say that he is not the man of motivation?

Man like him should be idolized and followed by us. He helps me to build myself precisely every day. His greatness, positive mind, hardworking mentality, his deeds are the actual motivation for me.
